The firebombing of Jews in Colorado comes in the wake of the arrest of an Islamist plotting to kill Jewish pre-schoolers in Michigan, which comes in the wake of two employees of the Israeli Embassy being gunned down in our nation’s capital, which comes in the wake of the firebombing of Governor Josh Shapiro’s residence when he and his family were there.
This is all the actuation of the chanting from left-wing mobs to “globalize the intifada,” and similar terrorist incantations. Where is the Democratic party standing in unison against this? That party could not pass a bill denouncing antisemitism last year, and a few years before that could not denounce antisemitism without adding multiple other groups.
The leadership of the Democratic party has given too much safe space for Jew hatred with its silence. When it’s BLM and illegal immigrants, they sure know how to make their voices heard. Their time to speak on Jew-hatred in America, loudly, clearly—and with any manner of conviction—is long past due.
