In all the relief many of us are experiencing with a new administration going into Washington, DC—let us not forget that our and our allies’ national security concerns will be pacified as well.
The Biden administration’s national security team has been the worst in modern history. After our ignominious and chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, where over a dozen Americans and countless allies were killed, this president boasted that it was a “extraordinary success.” The world watched—and heard. Russia’s Vladimir Putin saw our weakness and fecklessness and invaded a major ally, Ukraine.
After Biden, Blinken and Sullivan enriched Iran—the world’s worst sponsor of terrorism—her proxies invaded another ally, Israel. They killed and captured innocents—including Americans—more than any time in memory, at least since the Carter administration. All this on the heels of National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan boasting the region, “is quieter today than it has been in decades.”
After November 5th, we can say about our security and that of our nation’s allies: Help is on the way.
