Here’s a proposed bumper sticker or a hashtag for the times we live in: MOFA—Make Orwell Fiction Again.

We’ve just been whiplashed: Joe Biden was just the most capable man to be president who could run circles around his staff. Now: He’s passing the torch. And there’s no real explanation. Is it polling? His physical, mental infirmity? Or both? 

We aren’t told. But—borrowing from Orwell—we’re forced to “memory hole” all the recent statements of his great ability and agility.

Memory holed as well in Biden’s 2021 appointment of Harris as “border czar.” Now: We’re told it was never her job or title.

It doesn’t stop there: Harris has long been ranked the “most liberal” U.S. Senator by the website GovTrack.

Now that page is “down” … memory holed as well.
