For weeks—if not months—the American people had been told Joe Biden was not stepping down from the presidential ticket because a) he was just fine—he’d just had a “bad night” last month at the debate and b) millions of Democrats voted for him in the primary race of the Democratic party this year.  He is the people’s choice. Or: I guess he was the people’s choice.

Well….

Vice President Kamala Harris and others in a small inner-circle at 1600 Pennsylvania were clearly involved in a cover-up and gaslighting campaign, telling us things like Joe Biden runs circles around all of them in policy meetings.

America should not miss the point that they’ve been lied to—by the White House and their enablers in elite media.

It looks like Vice President Kamala Harris will now be the selected nominee to head the Democratic ticket this November.  Not elected, selected.

Turns out the biggest norms-buster is the true party of the real big lie—and that’s the Democratic party.

Well, you’re going to remember where you were on Sunday when the news came that Joe Biden, the President of the United States, was withdrawing from the 2024 presidential election.

It’s one of those days like Lyndon Johnson on March the 31st of 1968. When those alive at the time remember the very unexpected development. Except of course, with the withdrawal of Joe Biden, it’s not entirely unexpected after the disaster of the June 27th debate. The Democratic Party obviously came to the conclusion that even though it is now scrambling, it is more likely to be successful on November the 5th without Joe Biden than with him. It’s a rather cold, if not ruthless political calculation, and the President is out.

There’s going to be a lot for us to think about, and there’s going to be a lot for Democrats to do in very short order with November five coming very quickly, but they asked for this development. Now they’ve got it.

The big point is, I can remember that night when Lyndon Johnson withdrew from the race in 1968. My father looked  me in the eye and said, “Son, you’re going to remember this. You're going to remember what happened Sunday.”

That’s just the way history works.
