Strengthening U.S. Military Deterrence Against Iran | Hugh Hewitt & Senator J.D. Vance Vance

President Biden’s decision to step aside and not run again for another term has upset the entire equation of the 2024 election. Democrats are now looking to have a different standard-bearer in Vice President Kamala Harris.

Nobody as recently as, say, three weeks ago, saw this coming this way.

We also need to recognize that our elite media are playing right into the hands of the new democratic strategy. Media outlets are, and have been now, starving the Republican campaign of media oxygen, pushing all the stories on the Democratic side. 

Just understand, it’s all free media, media time that’s not given to the Republican argument, and quite honestly media that the Democrats aren’t having to pay for. 

Of course, the elite media are overwhelmingly liberal, as they themselves will eventually tell us. They’re talking about, number one, what interests them, and secondly, they’re talking about what they see is serving their own political interests. No: I’m not talking a vast conspiracy. It’s bigger than that. It’s just a vast social reality. 

And it’s playing out to the benefit of the Democratic side. 

We need to understand that.

Albert Mohler: Free Media for Democrats

Thomas Jefferson understood that for a self-governing people to make the best decisions for themselves and their country, they had to have access to the facts. “A properly functioning democracy depends on an informed electorate,” he wrote.

President Jefferson would be appalled at what’s happening today. Google is the world’s most popular search engine, with 92 percent of market share. It’s autocomplete feature hides suggested results referencing the assassination attempt against Donald Trump.

Users including Elon Musk pointed out that google was autocompleting searches for “President Donald” with “President Donald Duck.” Others have noted that searching for Donald Trump yields favorable articles about Kamala Harris—but searching for Harris produces nothing on Trump.

A Google spokesman claims it’s “working on improvements.” Let’s hope so. Because what’s happening now is dishonest. It’s election interference that hurts our democracy. And it needs to stop.
