The Wall Street Journal last week confirmed what many of us in conservative media have been arguing for years:
Joe Biden is “diminished.”
And: The country has been run by an unofficial and invisible Politburo for four years. Manhattan-Beltway legacy media are either (1) complicit in the coverup of his infirmity or (2) horribly incompetent when it comes to discovering the obvious.
Some “journalists” knew and have said so out loud for years but for the vast majority of our overwhelmingly left-wing media elites the answer is “complicity” not “incompetence.”
Will any even symbolic penalty be assessed for this massive failure?
Why, for example, should any legacy media brand that failed in their core mission of covering the presidency be in the White House press room—at all, much less the front row or two? They are not who they say they are.
Either way: Send them to the exits, please.
Those people—those “journalists” —failed the country, comprehensively.
The most recent—and mind-boggling—failure might mark the beginning of the end of the legacy media death spiral.
It ought to.
