Question: What do you do when dealing with a dysfunctional organization?
Answer: Question everything. And then measure everything.
Elon Musk, Donald Trump’s DOGE special consultant, sent out an e-mail demand for all federal employees to detail their previous week’s work. Private sector workers would hardly blink at such a request for accountability. Bureaucrats and their Democrat allies acted as though the world had come to an end.
This gives voters a demonstration of why accountability is needed, and why the bloated deep state needs deep cuts. Seventy-six percent of voters in a new Harvard-Harris poll back Trump and Musk in efforts to find and eliminate fraud and waste in government – and this is just the first step.
"What would you say you do here" is a question that federal bureaucrats better get used to answering ... or start looking for work elsewhere. And they will soon find out that such scrutiny is the norm, not the exception, for all of us NOT in the government sector.
