Once again, the world has lined up to condemn Israel for fighting terrorists Rather than rewarding them.

 The Israelis have made clear that they will negotiate for hostages and for pauses in operations, but they will not allow Hamas to use Gaza to keep launching wars. On October seven, Hamas broke the last of a series of nine cease fires with Israel. Since taking power in Gaza, 17 years earlier, every agreement followed offensive war operations by Hamas on Israel as part of their declared mission of Annihilation.

Israel accepted the most recent pause to exchange hostages, but made clear that it would not allow Hamas to remain in Gaza. Hamas refuses to leave or disarm after having started the war with its orgy of atrocities. This creates an existential conflict that has persisted for nearly 20 years without resolution because neither side will submit to its destruction.

The only way to resolve this is to fight Hamas' war to its conclusion.

Simply put, Israel needs to win.
