Has the Protection Racket Media recovered at least some sense of shame? The editorial board of the Washington Post declared this weekend that its patience with Kamala Harris’ lack of candor has ended. Neither she nor her running mate Tim Walz will take questions on the record from reporters.
And the Post certainly has questions. Over the course of 24 days, the current Vice President has reversed herself on key issues without explanation. The Post’s editors don’t buy that Harris can credibly reverse herself on whether illegal immigration is prosecutable—or open border, or fracking, or natural gas, or national health care—after a track record of years. They also call Harris out for playing footsie with anti-Israel activists demanding an arms embargo while issuing vague statements supporting Israel’s right to defend itself.
In short, the Post’s editorial board suspects they—and we—are being gaslighted.
And we are, by Harris and Walz, but also by their own reporters and the rest of the Protection Racket Media.
