A law professor waved an American flag at a City University of New York protest—and got threats in response. Jeffrey Lax counterprotested this last week at a pro-Palestinian demonstration on campus organized by the Muslim Student Association. They called the flag a “fascist symbol,” a “Nazi flag,” and pledged to target Lax in future protests—as well as other “Zionist staff.”

“These people hate America,” Lax said. “They want America destroyed.”

Are they succeeding? Immediately after this incident, CUNY cited “security concerns” as they canceled two Hillel events on its campuses—celebrating Israel’s Memorial Day and then their Independence Day.

In other words, CUNY caved to the radical mobs that want an end to America rather than stand up for those who wish to uphold our ideals in free speech and religious tolerance.

If you didn’t hear about this, it’s because not a single American media outlet covered it. Not even the media in New York reported on the cancellation of two Jewish events as radical activists target campuses—and the American ideal.
