The New York Times “celebrated” Father’s Day in its own, inimitable way. Susannah Meadows, a senior staff editor in the opinion section, devoted an entire piece to trashing her ninety-two-year-old father.
The essay is a lengthy litany of woe. Meadows tells us her father gave her financial anxiety and a genetic predisposition to melanoma . He was a sexist and a drinker. An adulterer, too.
It’s no surprise when Meadows reveals herself as part of the left. Its disdain for males is evident.
That’s the Democrats’ real problem. They can spend $20 million dollars trying to learn how to win back men. But while their party is dominated by unhappy women who dislike and distrust males, they might as well just light that money on fire.
There’s no reason for men to support a political party that offers them nothing but resentment and contempt.
