For years, some politicians have justified costly and burdensome regulations by telling us they’re worth it, even if they save only a few lives. Now, strangely, many of the same people ignore a scourge that’s killing our young people.
I’m talking about fentanyl. Overdoses have become the leading cause of death for Americans between 18 and 45.
It’s coming in over our southern border. Last year, law enforcement seized about two and a half billion doses of fentanyl at the border — and more of our fellow citizens died from drugs than we lost throughout the entire Vietnam War. Two hundred and fifty thousand Americans have died from drugs in just the last three years.
The politicians who refuse to protect our country’s border from the poison that’s flowing across it care more for some political agenda than for our country’s youth – its future. Throw. Them. Out.
