It’s a new era in America. The Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, reported that FEMA has resolved 80 percent of the open Hurricane Helene cases in western North Carolina—and that was just over the previous five days.
That’s not all. Since President Trump took office, the number of people crossing the southern border is down by 93 percent. Illegal immigration at the US-Mexico border is at a five-year low.
Of course, it’s too soon for a victory lap. Powerful pockets of bureaucratic resistance still exist. Just last week, FEMA sent 59 million dollars to luxury hotels in New York City so they’d continue to house illegal immigrants.
But the moral of the story is clear. Government inefficiency and national decline are NOT inevitable. They’re choices. And the Trump administration, backed by the American people, are rightly insisting that our government choose more wisely.
