America arrives at Thanksgiving this year with plenty to talk about.
The nation has been transfixed by a recent election—and how to interpret all we’ve just experienced.
Christians are looking squarely at issues we care so deeply about.
But all Americans—left, right and center—are dealing with the economic climate—it’s impacted all voters.
And yet, most Americans will sit around tables filled with food.
Gas is more expensive, but still lower than most others pay around the world. Our court system works. The rule of law prevails.
We are not at war—and we’ve shown ourself resilient. We face challenges, but we would not trade our place in the world for any other people at any other time—and we know it.
God still gives grace to this nation and its people, and there is every good reason for Americans to give thanks to God once again this Thanksgiving Day.
I’m Albert Mohler—wishing you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving.
