Dr Andrew Browning is an Australian trained obstetrician who has spent his entire professional career volunteering in Africa as a medical missionary specialising in obstetric fistula surgery. Andrew is now the Medical Director for the Barbara May Foundation and joined Clayton to talk about his book, A Doctor in Africa. Andrew shares with Clayton, the obstacles he has overcome working in remote, harsh and vastly under-resourced regions, and has compelling stories of the women whose lives he has transformed forever through fistula surgery and access to free maternal healthcare.
