Drawing from Luke Chapter 12, Rev. Holmes walks through Jesus’ warnings against bad theology, anxious living, and misplaced trust in worldly riches. Diving into the focal verse, Luke 12:40, he breaks down what it truly means to keep your lamps burning and your heart aligned with God's timing—living not in anxiety, but in constant faith and expectation.

Key Takeaways

Beware of Spiritual Leaven: Avoid false teachings and bad theology that shift your focus away from sound Biblical truth.

Shift Your Perspective on Fear: Put your trust in God rather than fearing earthly circumstances or man.

The Danger of the "Rich Fool": Storing up material wealth without being rich toward God offers no ultimate security.

Living in Active Readiness: Living prepared for Christ’s return means remaining watchful, faithful, and focused on His work every day.

God’s Sovereign Timing: We don't know the hour or day, but faithful servants live ready for the Master's arrival at any moment.
