KMOX's Megan Lynch talks with Rebecca Rolland, nationally certified speech pathologist with Children's Hospital Boston and Harvard University, and author of the new book "The Art of Talking with Children".  Rolland's new book gives parents a guide for engaging in meaningful conversations with their kids.  
Rolland says as you talk to children about world events, try to regulate your own reactions so you don't bring stress to the conversation.  She says a good starting point is to try to get a sense of what they think is going on and pull out a map to give them a visual perspective on their world.
