For this week's Roaming St. Louis segment, KMOX host Scott Jagow visits Jackson Pianos in Central West End. The company's known for its environmentally friendly piano building and refurbishing plan. In fact, Jackson is planning to open a café whose interior will be built from old pianos!

Plus, the company is launching a new project alongside a new St. Louis resident, Father Thomas, a Ugandan native who is studying higher education at St. Louis University. Father Thomas' initiative is called Melodies of Change and the goal is send pianos to a seminary in Uganda for children to learn music on them.
