Human rights NGO Pusat Komas has released their annual Malaysia Racism Report, a comprehensive documentation of racial and religious discrimination across the country across all sectors. The report reveals that last year was the highest number of cases involving racism nationwide since reporting started 11 years ago. • Malaysian activist deported from Singapore: Activist and lawyer Fadiah Nadwa Zikri was invited to be a guest speaker at a lecture in National University of Singapore’s Southeast Asian Studies department. However, she was denied entry into the country because the Singapore government accused her of allegedly inciting local activists to break the law and use violence.
