This week, Emma goes down the rabbit hole about everything we get wrong about first dates — and how to stop sabotaging them before they even start.

From why first dates trigger anxiety, to how fear of rejection turns into “pick me” energy, Emma reframes dating as data collection, not an audition. She walks through how to regulate your nerves before a date, how to stay grounded and authentic while you’re on it, and how to avoid oversharing, trauma dumping, or performing for approval.

Emma lays out her personal first-date rulebook: what to share, what to hold back, how to spot red flags like love bombing and future faking, and why compatibility matters more than chemistry. She also gets brutally honest about post-date spiraling — decoding texts, delayed communication, breadcrumbing — and why your worth needs to stay out of the conversation.

If you’ve ever overthought a first date, romanticized potential, or felt crushed by silence afterward, this one will change how you approach dating forever.

Emma's always been told she's, "too much" and now, she's done apologizing for it. From NY to LA and back again, she's lived a thousand lives and if there's anything she's learned, it's to be unapologetically yourself. Every Tuesday, Emma is getting raw and real about everything from f*ckups and breakups, thriving (and surviving) in your 20s and 30s, how to be the best version of yourself and so much more. So grab a drink, because we're going down the rabbit hole...
