Running on three hours of sleep, possible vertigo, and zero filter — this episode goes straight down the rabbit hole of making the first move. Why is it so terrifying to walk up to someone you’re interested in? From caveman survival instincts to modern-day gender norms, Emma breaks down the psychology behind fear of rejection, overthinking, and why we all get stuck in the “what if” loop.

But here’s the twist — sometimes shooting your shot can lead to the wildest rewards. Case in point: the infamous Zac Efron story you’ve all been begging Emma to retell. Yes, it involves spilled drinks, secret hallways, a Gabriella Montez dance performance, and a weekend that changed everything.

We’re talking confidence, reciprocity, proximity, and why the regret of not trying will always sting worse than a no. Whether you’re a guy paralyzed by the fear of being “creepy”, a girl told making the first move makes you “too much,” or just someone sick of waiting to be approached — this is your pep talk to stop sitting on the sidelines of your own life.

It's time to apply Emma's tips to get what you've always wanted. Worse case scenario, you hear a "no." Best case scenario? You walk away with your own Zac Efron story.

Emma's always been told she's, "too much" and now, she's done apologizing for it. From NY to LA and back again, she's lived a thousand lives and if there's anything she's learned, it's to be unapologetically yourself. Every Tuesday, Emma is getting raw and real about everything from f*ckups and breakups, thriving (and surviving) in your 20s and 30s, how to be the best version of yourself and so much more. So grab a drink, because we're going down the rabbit hole...
