In today's episode, we share a story from Abby about her creepy experiences while staycationing at a 5-star hotel. It started off with minor things, an unknown buzzing on the sofa, the sound of the keycard on their door leading to nothing; but it would quickly escalate once she and her husband both went to bed. 

In her sleep, Abby would experience a series of peculiar nightmares featuring distorted singing voices, a grotesque operating theatre, and a bizarre tour around an old mansion. However, one thing remained constant throughout her dreams, the presence of a old man's voice whispering into her ear.

When it around 1am, he finally left work and headed to the basement of his office to find his car. However, when he stopped at his car door, he suddenly felt a strong sense of unease in the air, as if someone was watching him, even though the entire carpark was empty at this time. Trusting his senses, he headed back to the lift lobby instead, which was when he caught, out of the corner of his eye, a grey-faced creature staring at him from underneath his car.

In the first story, a father wakes up in the middle of the night to see a young girl stood in front of his bathroom door. Thinking that it might just be his daughter sleepwalking, he brushes it off, and gently tries to call to her so that he can guide her back to her bed. But after she doesn't respond, he starts to get a little creeped out, and when he turns away for a split second, she vanishes without a trace.

 

In the second story, a young boy is sleeping by himself in a small room at his grandparents place, where he is routinely visited by a friendly auntie at night. This would happen on multiple occasions, and when asked who the old lady was, she would only respond that she was his grandmother's friend. But when the boy himself questioned his grandmother, she denied that she let anyone else in their home at night.

The Sleepwalker Who Wasn't There

In the first story, a woman's mother is terminally ill and getting treatment at the hospital when she receives a single rose bud from an anonymous sender. Curiously, throughout the remaining time that her mother was still alive, the rose bud did not bloom, and even showed signs of wilting and decay, as if mirroring her mother's own deteriorating condition. Finally, the inevitable came about when her mother's health failed her late at night, which is when she noticed that the rose was in full bloom.

 

In the second story, a young boy accompanies his dad to work at a relatively remote building. However, the boy forgot to bring his books, got restless, and ended up venturing around the building looking for a vending machine to get a drink. This is where he would an encounter a gentle old man, who simply asked if the boy had 2 fifty cent coins to exchange for a dollar coin. But when the boy turned around, the old man had mysteriously vanished.
