View descriptionShare

Join Margaret as she talks to Reiki Practitioner and Womb Goddess Siobhan Emin-Prentice. Siobhan opens up about how she healed herself from trauma and endometriosis, talking about the tools and methods she used and how she know helps and supports other women to do the same. Siobhan talks about her passion for all things surrounding the divine feminine and what that means for women and why now is the time for the define feminine to rise and start to align with mother earth and our sisters to live our truth.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • Siobhan has healed herself from endometriosis and sexual trauma naturally and is passionate about sharing everything she learnt to help others.
  • Working in women’s refuges allowed Siobhan to learn a tremendous amount about the struggles of other women and awakened her to start the process of healing herself.
  • Our ancestors were more aware of their womb and bodies including their menstrual cycles, allowing them to live in accordance with them. Modern life and things such as the contraceptive pill throw women off balance.
  • If we gossip and talk about others, we break the divine feminine and sisterhood, we need to come together as one, as women.
  • We live in a masculine world and it’s time for the define feminine to rise and start to align with mother earth and our sisters to live our truth.
  • To truly heal yourself you need to have trust and faith in yourself and listen to yourself.
  • Sound healing helps bring up the stagnation of emotions, allowing yourself to heal from within.
  • We carry the pain of the generations that went before us.
  • Healing is a process, and we have to take responsibility for it as individuals and do the work.

BEST MOMENTS

‘The more you hold your womb and you talk to her, eventually she’ll respond”

‘We haven’t been taught how to sit with the divine feminine because we live in a masculine world’

‘It was showing me what my body needed to release, so I actually thank the endometriosis’

‘Just know you can heal and when you trust thyself you can free thyself’

A few years ago, Margaret underwent several life-threatening traumas, including domestic abuse, and almost killed by her ex-partner, kidney and brain cancer, mental health issues, and a near-death experience. From a breakdown to a breakthrough, these words from Viktor Frankl’s book, Man's Search For Meaning, changed her life forever: “The existence of life is to suffer; to survive is to find meaning in suffering.” Once she became aware of this, her life changed, and choose to live each day like it's her last…
