Today FM has launched into Christmas and the silly season, since Tova Switched on Christmas on Thursday morning.

This means Christmas carols are blasting all over the place and office Christmas Parties are underway, which got the Lloyd Burr Live team thinking about unusual presents.

Everyone is bound to have received a strange gift or given something they aren't sure if the other would like, but have you ever given a cow for Christmas? 

This year ChildFund is encouraging Kiwis to help out Kenyans with its Gifts that Grow campaign.

You can gift a cow, a chicken, a goat or a farming bundle.

ChildFund CEO Mark Collins spoke to Lloyd Burr on Friday afternoon and explained the process of how ChildFund gifts cows.
