Andy’s in-studio guest is KTLA entertainment producer Christine Samra, who starts her day at 5 a.m. working alongside Andy on TV and is also a highly experienced traffic reporter — a true woman of many talents. She was thrilled to have Lou Diamond Phillips at the station today. Christine half-jokingly calls herself the “personality hire” at KTLA (we’re fine with it), and she and Andy dig into their chat with Phillips, who looked back on filming the ’80s Western classic Young Guns with Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen, and Dermot Mulroney.  

Traffic experts Angel Martinez and Christine compare notes on the trickiest spots in LA for live traffic reports. In other news, stores like Sephora are turning the music down — not because of older shoppers, but because younger, often neurodivergent customers are asking for less sensory overload. Andy takes a quick trip down memory lane to his Abercrombie & Fitch days and takes a few shots at podcast stereotypes.
