Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. Hour 1 (10.02) Dodgers hand Tarik Skubal the NLDS Game 1 ball over Yoshinobu Yamamoto for an afternoon game in a heat wave. Tony Romo is also out at CBS after nine years.

6:05 – Angel Martinez on a brutal commute: a garbage truck fire on the 5 in Arleta, a trash truck carrying compressed gas cylinders burning on the Westside, and a big rig fire on the southbound 15 in the Cajon Pass. Plus, a packed, scorching weekend: Montrose Oktoberfest, the Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach, USC, and the Dodgers opening the NLDS against the Braves. Max Muncy on playing in extreme heat, cheap playoff tickets, and why Skubal gets Game 1 over Yamamoto.

6:20 – Southern California is in for a long heat wave with triple digits inland. Bad news for outdoor weddings, plus Breezit's list of top wedding venues. A Pacific hurricane is sending big surfs our way next week.

6:35 – Shoes on or shoes off in your house? A University of Arizona study found an average of 421,000 units of bacteria on shoe bottoms, including E. coli. Plus, a Kardashian sister on why she doesn't want her body to go the way of Kim's.

6:50 – Tony Romo and CBS Sports part ways after nine years and a July arrest for operating while intoxicated. Romo says he'll take a break to focus on his health and family, and open up about back pain, painkillers and alcohol. History suggests he'll be back.

Hour 2 (10.02) Jay Leno got caught on video listening to the show. Then Neil Saavedra joins Friday Fun: the two Darrins, the two Aunt Vivs, and the time Jerry Seinfeld got fired from Benson.

7:05 – Neil Saavedra, The Fork Reporter, joins for Friday Fun. Why do some people say "that's funny" instead of laughing? Jay Leno is caught on video driving around listening to the show, and another listener heard about Leno's ABC7 interview the same way. How many hearts have Bellio, Conway, and Saavedra broken? Plus, portable air conditioners that vent outside, and why an "old world charm" rental usually means no AC.

7:20 – Dr. Bombay explained, and Bewitched swapping Dick York for Dick Sargent as Darrin. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air replaced Aunt Viv, Janet Hubert out and Daphne Maxwell Reid in. Jerry Seinfeld's short stint as a joke writer on Benson. The world is full of hypocrites, and you'll want your own sunscreen at Dodger Stadium.

7:35 – Saavedra leaves ice-cold drinks on his porch for the mail carrier, and Conway once had a donut maker and wanted to make fresh donuts for cops. Then Tennessee's failed attempt to execute Christa Pike, the second botched execution in the state in four months.

7:50 – The Jamba Juice Orange Dream Machine is basically an Orange Julius. Remember the mall? Would you throw out a drink you didn't like and go to a different Jamba? North Hollywood Jamba is the move.
