8:05 In his new memoir, Behind the Castle Walls, Bob Chapek puts Disneyland's Magic Key count at "somewhere around" 1.1 million. He uses that number to argue Disney should have raised prices more aggressively. The top-tier pass already went from $699 to $1,599 on his watch. 

8:20 A REACH Air Medical helicopter went down in the water off Pebbly Beach near Avalon on Catalina Island Wednesday night. The patient's family identified her as 45-year-old Catalina Hernandez of Avalon. They say she was being flown to the mainland after an allergic reaction to shrimp, with her son aboard. 

8:35 Donny Osmond has extended his Harrah's Las Vegas residency through June 2027. It's a 90-minute show where the audience picks songs from his 65 albums, and he calls it "probably my favorite show I've ever done." Plus a Culver CityBus driver was shot and killed by a passenger after a dispute in Mar Vista, police say. 

8:50 SpaceX launched 130 satellites and spacecraft on one Falcon 9 from Vandenberg on its Transporter-18 rideshare mission. The payloads included a Google test satellite for running AI chips in space. The booster landed back at Vandenberg on its 25th flight.
