Residents in the Giyani area in Limpopo have welcomed the findings of an independent investigation into ongoing water shortages. The report was presented by Minister of Water and Sanitation, Pemmy Majodina, during a community meeting at Nden'eza village outside Giyani. The investigation revealed that a group of farmers upstream the N'wamanungu Dam, formerly Middle Letaba Dam, had allegedly blocked the flow of water.
