INTRO: Hundreds of Libyan showed their support for the slain son of former Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi, Saif al Islam Gaddafi ahead of his funeral on today. Libya's heir apparent, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen at his home in the north-western city of Zintan on Tuesday. The burial was said to be held today in the town of Bani Walid some 175 kilometres south of Tripoli, two of his brothers said. The authorities said they were probing Seif al-Islam's death as the assailants remain on the run.
