INTRO:
The opposition DA in Limpopo is calling for full investigations into the factors contributing to the collapse of the government bus company, Great North Transport, GNT. The party blames the ongoing dysfunction and corruption within entity at the provincial government and the governing party, ANC. The provincial government and the governing party ANC are yet to comment. The bus company operated 540 buses across 200 routes, and transported 36 million passengers annually but now it is only left with 23 buses.
