A national convention which will set the agenda for South Africa's much anticipated national dialogue will be held on the 15th of August. President Cyril Ramaphosa made the announcement on Tuesday. He said the national dialogue would not be a one-time event but would unfold in phases, starting from local consultations and sectoral engagements, and then proceeding to provincial and national gatherings. Ramaphosa also announced that he had appointed an eminent person's group to lead the process. Ernest Ntimbane spoke to Dr Mbazima Mathebane - social commentator from Unisa
