The Greater Tzaneen Municipality says that an agreement has been reached with Eskom regarding the commissioning of their new substation, which will significantly ease the load currently placed on the municipality's Tarantaalrand Substation.Eskom has committed to completing the commissioning process and migrating their supply line to their substation by 30 October 2025. Once this process is finalized, it will greatly improve electricity stability in the affected areas.
