The Madlanga Commission will not sit on Friday, but the ruling will be issued on that day. Sindane, who was expected to testify, was absent from Wednesday's proceedings due to ill health. He was expected to testify about financial records, stokvel dealings, payments he allegedly received from Mpumalanga taxi boss Joe "Ferrari" Sibanyoni, and text messages exchanged between the two. Sindane also launched an application with the Pretoria High Court to block his subpoena and prevent the Commission from using his phone content in the Kwaggafontein extortion and money laundering case.
