INTRO: Some young people are calling on the youth to seize the moment and take advantage of the upcoming national dialogue to make their voices heard. They believe the initiative, announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa, for discourse on the state of the country, can assist them to ventilate their frustrations and partake in finding solutions. Last week, Ramaphosa said the national dialogue would take place across the country and be preceded by a national convention on the 15th of August. This June, marks 49 years since young people took a stand in 1976, against the apartheid government and Afrikaans being used as a medium of instruction.
