Mpumalanga has recorded a double digits percent decrease on the 17-community reported serious crimes for the fourth quarter of 2024 - 2025 period. According to the provincial crime stats released on Friday by the acting provincial Police Commissioner, Major General ZephMkhwanazi and Community Safety, Security and Liaison MEC, Jackie Macie, crime in the province declined by two-thousand-308 cases compared to the same period last year. However Mkhwanazi  says  sexual offences remain a cause of concern
