Johannesburg Executive Mayor, Dada Morero is doing a good job and must stay in his position for the purposes of stability and continuous service delivery. This was the message six small parties within the council delivered under the banner of the Johannesburg Progressive Caucus. 
This was divulge at a press briefing in Braamfontein. The African Independent Congress, PAC, United Independent Movement, GOOD, APC and COPE parties have thrown their support behind Morero, ahead of a motion of no confidence to be tabled against him at a end of the month meeting. 
This comes after the Minority Governing Parties - comprising the UDM, Al Jam-ah, ATM and AHC submitted a Motion of No Confidence against him. They accuse Morero of alleged interference in administrative processes and the failure to implement political management committee decisions.
