Limpopo is now aiming for a top 5 spot in the list of performing provinces when matric results are announced next year. The class of 2024 in the province achieved an 85.1% pass rate, which took Limpopo to position 6. Among schools that have passed with 100% in Limpopo is Matimba High School in Collins Chabane Local Municipality, Nlthaveni Block A  known as Nkavele Village under Chief Elias Sambo Vakomati. Ernest Ntimbane spoke to the principal at Matimba high school, Dr Rirhandzu Peggy Baloyi.

EFF leader Julius Malema has hit out at Kwazulu Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi saying he should not implicate him in Mhwanazi's fights with Police Crime Counter-Intelligence head, Feroz Khan. Malema was speaking at his party's National Voter Registration Launch at Ghandi Square in Johannesburg. Khan, who Malema says he knows, has been mentioned in various testimonies at the Madlanga Commission as having ties to businessman Brown Mogotsi who  allegedly has ties to criminal activities. Malema has been implicated for allegedly manipulating a Tshwane Municipality security tender in 2024 at the Commission.  Mixo Mashimbye u burisanile na  mutivi wa nawu Nkul Gezani Maluleke.
