The 32-year-old Eldorado Park father accused of assaulting and raping his four-year-old daughter is expected to appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court in Soweto for a formal bail application on Monday. He made a brief court appearance on Tuesday last week, when three more charges were added.
He now faces five charges including murder, rape, compelled rape, child abuse and assault with intent to cause harm. Allegedly, the accused physically assaulted the girl and her two-year-old, brother.
