The state President Cyril Ramaphosa has approved a category two official provincial funeral for the late hosi Phylia N'wamitwa II. Hosi N'wamitwa II of the Valoyi clan outside Tzaneen in Limpopo, passed away after an illness last week. She is the first female chief among the Vatsonga/Machangana to ascend the throne in August 2008. She had challenged the patriarchal system in the Constitutional Court.
