On Tight Pants tonight we celebrated 15 years and 200 portraits in Suzanne Phoenix’s incredible International Women’s Day portrait series.
The 2026 exhibition is now open at the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre, featuring 23 cis and trans women and gender diverse people who are shaping culture and community in their own ways.

We chatted with Suzanne and Paige about how they met, what it was like taking the photos this year and a bit about the melb music scene now and how it is for women.

Suzanne’s IWD26 portrait exhibition is on now at the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre, open Monday to Friday from 9 to 5 until April 15. Located at 210 Lonsdale Street Melbourne Vic 3000.
