Is this free agent class as bad as it seems? And are there still fits for the Tigers out there? The Athletic's Cody Stavenhagen and cohost Kieran Steckley go over the pros and cons of a few names, starting with a familiar face.

— Despite all the drama, does Tarik Skubal still best fit Detroit's needs?
— Could Evan Phillips or another reliever help the Tigers' bullpen?
— Would it be unwise for the Tigers to go after Seiya Suzuki? Could a player like Randal Grichuk be an alternative?
— All that, plus more on the Tigers' hiring Martin Maldonado and Troy Melton's clean bill of health.
