Andrew Urquhart talks to Andrew Curtis who reflects on his series of election interviews with party leaders, recorded in the same studio for Shine TV. He reveals he has so far sat down with David Seymour, Marama Davidson, Winston Peters and Chris Luxon, while noting with a wry smile that a few other leaders have proven harder to pin down for Christian media.

Curtis argues the real value of the series has been probing each leader's view of government's role and their competence to deliver on policy, rather than simply their rhetoric about Christian values. He cautions against conflating any one party with Christian faith, insisting that genuine Christian witness is shown through everyday relationships rather than political allegiance, and urges voters to judge leaders on calibre and capability ([www.shinetv.co.nz](https://www.shinetv.co.nz)).
