Tom outlines the city's newly state directed grant for $50 MILLION DOLLARS to use for Electrical Grid Upgrades for the recent Governor's visit, and about the state awarded grant for helping with Literacy in the Rockford area from the state as well when the Governor was in Rockford this past week, In addition, he highlights awarded dollars from the recent City Council Meeting for The Discovery Center HVAC Upgrades, and the expansion of Rockford Promise to include Rockford University starting in 2025.
