Belvidere Assistant Chief of Police Dan Smaha discusses the upcoming “Ford Drive-a-thon” July 29th at Hamblock Ford in Belvidere, along with the Belvidere Park District, and the Boone County Historical Society. Ford Motor Company will pay $30 for every test drive to the Belvidere Special Olympics.  The Belvidere Pirates Special Olympic Athletes and their families will be the benefactors of the drive for travel to participate in Olympic games.
