In this episode we talk to our anonymous guest who's sister is addicted to methamphetamine. She tells us about the life changing moment when child services removed the child from her sister and she started raising her sisters child.

The Breakthrough Program provides information and support for families and significant others of individuals affected by methamphetamine and other substances.

The program involves:

• The provision of free public alcohol and drug (AOD) information sessions
• Connection to Family Workers who can provide brief intensive support to family members
• Referral to other assistance including peer support and social services
