Meditation has been around for thousands of years, and the benefits of practising are endless. In recent years meditation has once again become more mainstream and is helping us deal with stress, anxiety, mental and physical wellbeing, sleeplessness, elevated consciousness, self- awareness and so much more.

Today on this episode we welcome Nicho Plowman, a Vedic Meditation Teacher, Co-Founder of the world’s largest online meditation community, Insight Timer, and Founder of Edmund and Amelia a travel company which facilitates meditation retreats around the world to talk about how meditation can be adapted into a modern world.

Today Nicho shares with us the 180 degree flip his life took going from a busy corporate career and a high stress boozy lifestyle, to integrating Vedic meditation into his life as a daily practice and becoming a meditation teacher.

Nicho found meditation at 39 years old. Now a decade on it has become a significant part of his life and has transformed his lifestyle, relationships and even the way he does business consciously.

We delve deep into Nicho’s fascinating story today, and the lessons it has given him. At 50 years old, he feels like life is just starting.

Nicho is a truly inspiring human, showing us what is possible when we consciously connect to our inner compass, and what he calls the sitting in the conscious cinema of life.
