The Giants secured a much needed win in Brandon's favourite state to keep the wildcard spot open. They now find themselves in another expansion cup which the Giants simply must win to stay within stroking distance (especially because the other two teams vying for that last spot play each other this round). 

Alex then tells Brandon the tale of Jeff from finance (Aaron Black) who got to live his AFL dream, albeit just the one time, during the crazy times of covid. He also goes through an article outlining how Giants fans look out for their own.
