Australians are preparing to take part in the 2026 Census this Tuesday 11th of August, which will provide a snapshot of how the country has changed since the last Census in 2021.

Conducted every five years since 1911, the census is a compulsory national population count that provides one of the most comprehensive snapshots of the economic, social and cultural makeup of the country.
