On the 7th of July, a Native Title determination happened at Mount Skinner Station, near the Utopia/Urapuntja Homelands, 160km north of Alice Springs.

The determination was handed down by Justice Stephen Burley of the Federal Court at a site located seven kilometres north of Atneltyey, to grant Traditional Owners of this Country their Native Title.
