This year, the Multicultural Queensland Awards opened a new category to acknowledge businesses supporting communities.

The inaugural award was given to Tautua Group, a social enterprise creating practical pathways into work for Queenslanders from multicultural backgrounds.

They have opened a café and a barber shop, and include NDIS participants in their business models to deliver community outcomes.
